Position : Customer Service Rep / Data Entry – (Overnight Shift)

Job Description : Job Summary:
Due to COVID numbers increasing, we need to add more Specimen Processors to support the
COVID testing. They will be cross-trained to work on both COVID and routine business. We’re seeking a
Customer Service Representative / Data Entry / Specimen Processor to perform the following responsibility:

Accurately enter patient information and lab test information for each specimen into the lab system as specimens arrive so they can be tracked as they are tested in the lab.
Verify accuracy of entered information
Deliver specimens to the technical floor in a timely manner.
Much of this role will be data entry, it involves lots of typing information on keyboard and sitting for long periods of time
Must be able to type 25+ WPM (send 1 min typing assessment, if less than 25 let’s still talk about them)
May need to pour specimens (blood, urine, etc.) into containers for testing purposes. **Really lock candidates down on this! This is not a role for those who are grossed out by blood, urine, body parts, or working with anything the human body can produce
Complies with all safety rules, and follows defined safety practices.
Occasionally assisting with Specimen Sorting which involves sorting incoming specimens based on type of specimen, facility it’s coming from, priority vs non-priority, etc. (when doing this job function it involves lots of sanding/being on feet)
Need to be comfortable wearing PPE for duration of shift

Requirements:

High school diploma or GED (this client verifies EDU)
Good typing skills and ability to navigate through different screens on the computer easily (Type

25+ WPM, send 1 min assessment)

Comfortable seeing all types of bodily fluids in containers
Technically there are no specific requirements, however “Production employees (factory, warehouse, picking/packing) and food service (fast food) typically work best for this type of role”
