Job Description : Position: Data Control AdministratorLocation: Etobicoke, ONGeneral Accountability: The Data Control Administrator is responsible for data entry, data maintenance and data integrity in and between various databases/applications such as SAP and within various data sets (customers, pricing, materials and vendors etc). Interaction with various internal department is required on a daily basis to ensure accurate information is received and that accuracy standards, data quality and data integrity are achieved at all times. The position is responsible for building detailed knowledge about Lactalis master file components relative to the business processes and underlying file structures.Critical Success Factors: Master Data creation, maintenance and reporting including data entry, upload and changes into SAPPromotes data governance by ensuring quality and accuracy of material master data through execution of the annual governance plan where scheduled checks and balances are performedDetect omitted, duplicated, or incorrect data prior to input and take necessary actions to correct it always following established processes and proceduresInvestigate daily data integrity issues using available tools and reports and make corrections following established data standards, processes and proceduresEnsure data integrity and data quality by developing working relationships with key stakeholders and providing education on data standards and established processes and proceduresSupport project work by entering and changing required data associated with those projectsParticipate in monitoring key performance indicators for the group by logging errors, lead time issues and first pass quality issuesKey Attributes of the Ideal Candidate: Post-secondary education (Bachelors’ Degree in Business or Information Technology preferred)Solid understanding of RDBMS and experience with SQLMinimum three (3) years business experienceStrong business acumen coupled with high attention to detailStrong organizational and prioritization skillsDetail oriented, strong analytical and problem-solving skillsProcess oriented, proactive and customer focusedExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work in a fast paced, multi-tasking environmentStrong focus on accuracyProficient with office computer technology including Lotus Notes databases, Microsoft Office products (strong in Excel), and SAP including data structures particularly, Customer, Vendor, Material, and Pricing Masters.Lactalis is an equal-opportunity employer and is committed to the principles of diversity and employment equity.
