Work you’ll do

In partnership with the business recruiting teams, you’ll use your relationship-based consultative skills to work both across businesses as well as with specific teams to lead the development and execution of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion recruiting strategies within Deloitte’s high growth environment. You will partner with business recruiting leadership teams to establish, design, manage, track and measure diversity and inclusion initiatives at a national level while ensuring alignment with the recruiting strategies and objectives of each of our Deloitte businesses.

This role will be responsible for managing and continuing to grow our collective HBCU Recruiting strategy in partnership with our businesses. You will measure and communicate results to ensure meaningful and measurable progress towards our inclusion goals and explore growth opportunities and identify new platforms to enhance our diversity recruiting efforts. You will also have responsibility for a multi-university design model focused on historically black colleges and universities and lead a range of initiatives to help students to better prepare for the careers of today and the future.

Key responsibilities:

Foster and drive HBCU strategic programming and sourcing efforts, developing a sustainable pipeline of top HBCU talent into the organization
Build and grow DE&I focused recruitment strategies / plans and help to evangelize and drive adoption across all businesses; innovate new ways to expand and scale
Gather market insights regarding available talent pools and make data driven recommendations for focused sourcing
Manage strategic relationships with external organizations as an opportunity to build brand awareness, engage in the HBCU community, and attract and identify diverse talent pipelines
Drive effective teamwork, communication, collaboration, and commitment across multiple groups with competing priorities
Identify, assess, track and mitigate issues and risks at multiple levels
Collaborate intra-organizationally across other areas of Talent (i.e., Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, Learning and Development, Performance Management, etc.)
Your ability to assess risks, anticipate bottlenecks, assess and escalate issues, make tradeoffs, and balance the business / functional needs while implementing DE&I programs will be critical. Successful candidates will have experience designing and delivering innovative DE&I programs, earning trust with clients, and exhibiting the ability to simplify and translate market leading practices and research into action.

Qualifications

Required:

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
Minimum 6 years of recruiting experience in a large professional services organization
Minimum 7 years of program management experience
Experience and knowledge of 2 or more of Deloitte businesses
Experience in program creation for diverse talent pipelines
Experience with data analytics
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
Preferred:

Ability to influence without authority, think proactively, and function independently
Ability to develop and produce practical recommendations based on data and research to inform decisions in unstructured / ambiguous environment
High level of comfort using data-driven decision making
Ability to synthesize and communicate complex information and adjust to variable audiences
Ability to work well across businesses and teams
Strong organization skills with the ability to successfully manage multiple tasks and competing priorities
