Position : HR Admin
Job Description : Pilkington North America is a manufacturer and distributor of automotive and flat glass.
The HR Admin is responsible for HR functions for AGR field and distribution center locations including backup payroll, recruitment, new hire paperwork, terminations, maintaining I9s, short term disability, FMLA, performance management and other duties as assigned.
Primary Duties
Support HR Department which includes HR Manager, HR Director and EH&S Manager
Assist with hourly recruitment process which includes job posting/ads and opening and maintaining job requisitions
Enter new hires, employee changes, terminations; coordinate/track paperwork for new hires
Confidentially maintain employee files and records including database
Track background, drug screen and physical exam results for field hourly employees
Maintain proper I-9 documentation for active and inactive hourly and salaried employees in the field
Promptly process E-Verify documentation for applicable service center locations
Obtain Motor Vehicle Reports (MVRs) for field hourly new hires and post accident requests
Confidentially process salary and hourly compensation
Track paperwork for field short-term disability and FMLA cases, and promptly report results
Answer questions from employees regarding policies and procedures
Back up for hourly payroll
Complete hourly automatic and merit increases, ensuring proper increases are given on specific dates
Assist with distribution of services and safety awards
Responsible for managing Performance & Talent Management
Adherence to NSG/Pilkington Standards of Business Conduct and its Values and Principles
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications Required:
Bachelor degree specializing in human resources or related field and two years related experience or without degree 5 plus years of administrative experience
Strong organizational skills and ability to effectively prioritize tasks and responsibilities
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information in a professional manner
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (including Word, Excel and PowerPoint), Internet and email
Excellent communication (verbal and written) and customer service skills
Strong attention to detail
Excel in fast-paced environment
Ability to work independently
Able to manage multiple tasks in an accurate, complete and timely fashion
Proficient in English/Spanish language (verbal and written)
Must possess valid driver’s license and maintain acceptable MVR according to AGR’s standard
Must be able to work from an office environment
Qualifications Desired:
Bachelor degree in HR related field of study HIGHLY DESIRED
Prior experience in a multi-site business
Prior experience with Ultipro
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 – $65,000.00 per year
