Job Description : Position: HR Generalist
Department: Finance/HR
Position Type: Full-time Hourly, Non-Exempt
Work Week: Approx. 32 hrs. per week
Hourly Rate: $28/hr. – $32/hr.
Reports to: Sr. Director Finance
Great Divide Brewing Company is looking for a passionate individual who loves working directly with people. The ideal candidate will be an extremely detail oriented person that can ensure a high level of organization throughout the office. The HR Generalist will be primarily responsible for effective payroll, benefit, and HR-related administration.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Include but are not limited to:
Administer bi-weekly payroll
Administer benefits throughout the year, playing a key role in open enrollment and renewals
Administer company insurance policies
Maintains employee files in compliance with applicable legal requirements
Oversee and lead recruitment and new hire selection processes
Schedules and coordinates new-hire onboarding
Processes new-hire, status change and termination paperwork
Assists co-workers with benefits, plan provisions, benefits enrollments, status changes, and other general inquiries
Maintains relationship and workflow with benefit and insurance brokers
Reviews and responds to unemployment claims with appropriate documentation
Administer and process job-related injury/workers comp claims with employee and insurance provider
Provide administrative support for the 401K plan
Assist in projects related to compensation and benefits research
Open, log and distribute mail
Maintain office equipment and supplies
General shipping and receiving
Facilitate IT support and work with external vendor as appropriate to resolve issues
Respond and process external phone calls and/or emails related to general information and beer orders
Assist Executive team as needed
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills are required
Independent worker and self motivated
High school diploma, general education degree or equivalent
1+ years of HR experience
Experience working in a HRIS or Payroll system a plus, but not necessary
Compensation based on experience and qualifications
Alcohol beverage industry experience is a plus
Work Environment:
Opportunity for this position to work from home at times and have a flexible schedule while maintaining full-time status with benefits
