Position : Human Resources Manager
Job Description : We are looking for a dynamic Human Resources Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of the HR department and is responsible for the planning, administration, direction, coordination, and supervision of the human resource functions. WHAT IS REQUIRED TO BE A HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGER?
We are looking for an HR Director who possesses the following qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business or a related field is required.
Minimum five years of human resources experience is required.
Minimum three years of progressive leadership/management experience.
A proven record of recruitment and ongoing development of a superior workforce.
Ability to develop and implement policies and procedures.
Ability to maintain a company culture that emphasizes quality, continuous improvement, key employee retention and development and high performance.
Solid problem solving and decision-making skills.
Ability to work with all levels within the organization.
Energetic with high ethical standards and an appropriate professional image.
Flexible and efficient time management and ability to prioritize workload.
Extensive knowledge of Excel, Word, Power Point, and other position-specific software.
Excellent professional written and verbal communication/interpersonal skills.
Working knowledge of federal and state employment laws (ADA, COBRA, EEO, FMLA, FLSA, Arizona Sick Leave).
JOB DUTIES
Some job duties include but are not limited to:
Driving consistency in HR approach, practices, and procedures.
Partnering at all levels of the organization from leadership teams to individual contributors, providing consultation and recommendation on employee and business issues.
Responsible for design and implementation of human resource policies and employee handbook.
Manage the employee relations function for the organization.
Responsible for benefits and retirement plan administration and compliance.
Supervise the talent acquisition process.
Manage the performance management system, which includes coordinating the annual reviews.
Managing FMLA, leave of absence, and accommodation request processes.
Responsible for reporting of Worker’s Comp claims and audit completion.
Maintains knowledge of industry trends and employment legislation and ensures the organization’s compliance with federal, state and local employment laws.
Responsible for payroll processing.
