Description
The University of Montana Western Division of Education welcomes applicants for a full-time instructor specializing in Special Education. Primary responsibilities include teaching for undergraduate and post-baccalaureate students and coordinating the special education endorsement program. Teaching assignments could include courses in special education, inclusive instruction, and classroom management. Courses will be taught in both online and face-to-face formats. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with university faculty, staff, and students, demonstrate professionalism and a commitment to advising, and perform other departmental or university duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications
The successful candidate will:
hold a Master’s degree in Special Education;
have taught for three or more years in a P-12 setting;
have demonstrated success teaching face-to-face and online courses at the post-secondary level;
have demonstrated the ability to work well as a member of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
The successful candidate may:
hold a doctorate in Special Education or a related field (ABD will be considered);
have demonstrated leadership experience;
hold an endorsement/certification in Special Education.
