Job Description : Duties

Provide technical support, advice, guidance, and recommendations to other technical experts and management on critical IT related issues for all FMD systems including OFF and iQMIS.
Provide Operations and Maintenance and new customer Implementation support in Application Patching, Application Cloning, promoting code, catalog, OAS repository database (rpd) migrations and configuration changes across multiple environments.
Applies quarterly Oracle security patches to the Application tier including any technical support to internal and external customers of FMD.
Perform research and support for multiple development, test, and Production environments. Ensure the integration of IT programs and services and develop solutions to integration or interoperability issues.
Design, develop, and manage systems that meet current and future business requirements. Manage, extend, enhance, and optimize the existing technical architecture.
Responsible for application database management, Oracle Federal Financial technical tools, query packages, provide application and database security, create and update Unix scripts, operating procedures, software release control and testing support.
Provide support for prospective customers by providing insight on the level of effort for application management services to fulfill their requirements.
Ensure rigorous application of information security and information assurance policies, principles, and practices in the delivery of data management and technical services. Provide application-level auditing and tracking as needed and requested.

Qualifications

For all positions individuals must have IT-related experience demonstrating each of the four competencies listed below. level, you must meet the following qualification:

One year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-12 level. Specialized experience is that which has equipped the applicant with the competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the position to be filled. Specialized experience for this position includes but is not limited to experience with Oracle Applications Database Administration and support application system interfaces. Independently support system patching, application cloning, O&M releases, software upgrades, troubleshoot technical and system issues. Ensure system security and integrity is maintained.

At the GS-

level, you must meet the following qualification:

One year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-13 level. Specialized experience is that which has equipped the applicant with the competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the position to be filled. Specialized experience for this position includes but is not limited to experience with Oracle Applications Database Administration and support application system interfaces. Independently support system patching, application cloning, application and infrastructures upgrades, O&M releases, performance tuning at both database and application layer. Independently troubleshoot deep rooted technical and system issues. Ensure system security and integrity is maintained. Develop and deliver training to staff and external customers.

Only experience and education obtained by the closing date of this announcement will be considered.
