Visit us at www.prowaveelectric.com.Job descriptionPosition Summary: The Junior Project Manager will be responsible for the project management of projects.Responsibilities: Manage the project from beginning to delivery within schedule and budget.Work one on one with clients on the execution of projects.Manage and support the foreman on site.Manage layout drawings based on client provided sketches and requirements.Coordinate drawings based on markups assuring conformance.Coordinate with clients on requirements, issues, and schedule updates in timely manner.Coordinate with engineers for product and installation method approvals.Process bill of materials for installation team.Produce and edit installation manuals for clients and field staff.Conducting a thorough review of specifications and drawings.Provide support to the estimating team.Management of price packages with suppliers, subcontractors, owners, designers, and architects regarding tenders/bid requests.Review of the estimate with foreman to ensure all in agreement with labour, material, equipment, and subcontracting costs.Participating in site review, tender review, tender hand-off, project closing and operational/sector meetings when and where required.Coordinate shop drawing packages and close out packages.Work in a team environment to help each other and collectively be successful.Adhere to all company policies and procedures.Perform field reviews and site visitsAttend site meetings.Manage project to ensure on time and on budget.Perform other duties as assigned by Management.Qualifications and Skillsets: Project Management, Engineering, Engineering Technologist / Technician, Electrician or equivalentStrong understanding of project management with minimum three years experience mandatory.Understanding of electrical process and procedures preferred.Proficient in Microsoft Office and Microsoft OutlookExperience reviewing technical documents, drawings, and shop drawing submittals.Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team and interact with staff at various levels of the organization.Tech-savvyStrong time management and multitasking ability.Excellent oral and written English communication. skills.Valid drivers license.This is an amazing opportunity for a highly enthusiastic professional who is passionate about project management.Job Types: Full-time, PermanentSalary: $40,000.00-$75,000.00 per yearAdditional pay:Bonus payCommission payBenefits:Casual dressCompany carDental careExtended health careOn-site parkingPaid time offProfit sharingVision careSchedule:8 hour shiftExperience:project management: 1 year (preferred)
