Position : Parts Coordinator
Job Description : Chapman Collision Center in Phoenix is looking for a Parts Coordinator to join our team! This role requires the ability to accurately and efficiently verify and distribute parts to technicians, so that repairs can be completed in a timely manner. A minimum of one year of retail or wholesale parts experience is required. Body shop experience is a plus!
Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
· Oversee the parts mirror matching process from start to finish
· Verify, label and distribute parts efficiently
· Locate and stage parts for technicians
· Scan and post parts
· Track incomplete parts orders and returns (express and backordered parts)
· Communicate with estimators and technicians regarding parts status
· Receive and fill orders from vendors and other outside sources
· Pick up parts from vendors and outside sources, as needed
Desired Skills, Qualifications, and Experience:
· Minimum of one year of experience in a retail or wholesale parts department
· Previous body shop experience is preferred
· General computer skills (Microsoft Office and internet browsing)
· Knowledge of CCC1 software and OPS preferred
· Experience with Dealertrack is a plus
· Excellent prioritization and organization skills to effectively manage multiple tasks
· Strong written and verbal communication skills
· Professional, well-groomed appearance
· Possess a clean driving record and valid driver’s license
· Must be willing to submit to a pre-employment background check and drug screen
Physical Requirements:
· Must be able to bend, kneel and squat to inspect for repairs
· Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
· Must be able to work in indoor and outdoor environments
· Must be willing to wear personal protective equipment (PPE), as required
· Must be able to reach above and below shoulder level
