$1500 sign on bonus! $750.00 paid at hire and an additional incentive of $250.00 will be at six months, 12 months and 18 months of employment.

You: Yes You! We are looking for a skilled and organized Phlebotomist to join our team. Your position will perform a combination of clinical duties including:

Assists patients before, during and after specimen collection. Instructs patients on urine collection procedure.
Performs venipuncture, and capillary punctures on patients. Identifies, conducts tests and labels specimens. Enters data into EMR.
Responsible for running the I-stat machine, the Semen Analyzer and all QAs.
Maintains CLIA standards for on-site inspections.
Cleans/sterilizes equipment, instruments and work area following safety, cleanliness and infection control procedures.
Inventories supplies and places orders.

Your experience: Our mission is excellence in Urology, that is why we require:

2 year’s of relevant experience in a clinical setting
Knowledge of common safety hazards and precautions to establish a safe work environment.
Skill in maintaining records and recording test results.
Skill in identifying problems and recommending solutions.
Skill in developing and maintaining practice quality assurance and quality control standards.
Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with patients, medical staff, and public.
Ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations.
Ability to interpret, adapt and apply guidelines and procedures.
Ability to communicate clearly.

Your education/certification:

HS diploma/GED required
Phlebotomy certification or MA certification
