Job Description : JOB SUMMARY
· Carry out daily operations and activities to provide a positive member/guest experience.
REPORTS TO
· Director of Recreation
SUPERVISES
· No supervisory duties are included in this position.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES ARE, BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
General
· Promote Recreational and Camp Counselor activities and programs.
· Daily cleaning and upkeep of Recreation Departments: Tennis, Swim, and Fitness.
· Ensure member/guest safety by enforcing all rules.
· Provide exceptional customer service.
· Assist with general Club duties as assigned.
Tennis
· Follow Tennis Operations checklist.
· Supply towels and drinks to members and guests.
· Take towels from and to laundry area.
Swim
· Ensure the pool area is kept clean, organized, and stocked at all times (kickboards, pull buoys and toys).
· Completing walk-throughs of pool area (including locker room) to make certain it is impeccable (no trash on the grounds) and tidy.
· Supply towels and drinks to members and guests.
· Take towels from and to laundry area.
Fitness
· Ensure the fitness area remain clean and organized; organize dumbbells, weight plates, and bars. Disinfect and clean equipment.
· Supply towels and drinks to members and guests.
· Take towels from and to laundry area.
Licenses and/or Special Requirements
· CPR, AED and First Aid certification preferred or will obtain within 90 days of employment.
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
· Able to meet and perform the physical requirements and to work effectively in an environment, which is typical of this position.
· Frequent lifting, bending, climbing, stooping, and pulling.
· Frequent repetitive motions.
· Continuous standing and walking.
· The environment of the fitness center is warm and humid.
· Able to lift, pull or push 30 pounds.
