Job Description : IPG is looking for Production assistants , full time in Toronto location.Title: AssistantShift: NIGHT SHIFT (7 pm to 7 am)Joining Bonus – $1000Principle Accountabilities1. Assists with the safe, controlled start-up and operation of the line and process equipment including starting the machine, engaging the feed, observing the operation, and assisting in changeover process.2. Assists in inspecting and measuring completed pieces to verify conformity to specifications and packing into large bags or boxes as per the line requirements.3. Assists in monitoring and adjusting controls to ensure product complies with production standards.4. Assists in maintaining equipment through cleaning, inspecting, and informing the operator of any issues.5. Performs all work in a safety-first mentality!6. Related tasks as requested by supervisorEssential Skills and ExperienceHigh School Diploma or Equivalent required.Intermediate math skills and English written communication skills necessary.Ability to stand and walk for up to 12 hours at a time requiredAbility to regularly lift large lightweight items above head requiredAbility to lift and maneuver up to 50 lbs on a consistent basisIPG welcomes and encourages applications from people with disabilities.
