The successful candidate will have a proven track record of multitasking in a fast-paced work environment and is passionate about developing product knowledge to help drive growth for the company. Our Toronto head office is located near the Toronto Pearson International Airport.As part of LTL’s commitment to providing a safe and healthy work environment for all our employees and clients, COVID-19 vaccination is required for this position.JOB DESCRIPTIONPrincipal ResponsibilitiesCreate and submit purchase orders to suppliersReceive supplier invoices in our NAV systemAnalyze purchasing trends and make recommendations to managerPhysical checks of inventory and rectify inventory discrepanciesReduce product shrinkage by ensuring products going out of date are well managedWork with merchandisers to ensure products are properly displayed and taggedRespond to supplier emailsEnsure customer requested items are ordered and trackedKey CompetenciesAdvanced Excel and Microsoft applications skills requiredHighly organized with extreme attention to detail, numbers, and analyticsMultitask in a fast-paced environmentKeen learner to develop thorough product knowledgeExceptional communication and writing skillsEducation and ExperienceFormal college or university education completed, preferably a Business/Accounting programMinimum 2 years of purchasing experienceSalary commensurate with experience; company benefits.
