JOB SUMMARY
A Sober Living House Manager provides direct support to the clients and the Clinical/Operations Team at the facility. The Sober Living House Manager is responsible for monitoring, supporting, and documenting client interactions within the therapeutic milieu, collecting, and testing urine samples submitted by clients in accordance with agency policy and procedure. A Sober Living House Manager is responsible for reinforcing programmatic structure as it pertains to the efficient and therapeutic operation of the facility, including safety management, emergency procedures, and non-violent crisis intervention.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
1. Provide supervision and support to clients at the residential treatment center. Monitor, educate, and assist the client in the performance of daily living skills, activities, and the daily process in accordance with the goals and problem areas identified on the individual treatment plan.
2. Maintain client and program records in accordance with applicable standards and regulations.
3. Carry out responsibilities pertaining to the efficient and therapeutic operation of the facility, including safety management, emergency procedures, and non-violent crisis intervention. Manage crisis situations with clients and use additional program resources as needed. Offer clients guidance and support utilizing various recovery modalities.
4. Assist with inventory and general maintenance of supplies, facilities, and equipment. Complete logs and appropriate documentation.
5. Conduct room searches as scheduled or at the discretion of the staff and conduct random urinalysis drug testing twice weekly and as outlined procedurally.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
1. High school diploma or equivalent.
2. Minimum six months of experience in substance abuse treatment or behavioral health with a professional reference attesting to your commitment of customer service, punctuality, and professionalism.
3. 18 years of age or older.
4. A Valid Driver’s License.
5. Possess or have the ability to obtain a DPS Class 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card. (Preferred)
6. Completion of related educational courses 1st aid and CPR Certification. (Preferred)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 – $18.00 per hour
