Job Description : Underground Operator Hiring Pool
Location East Boulder – McLeod, Montana
Schedule: Shiftwork 4X5X5X4
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Responsible for safe delivery of muck distribution and/or supplies through the safe and proper operation of rail or rubber-tired equipment. Ability to work in a team environment for safe and productive muck handling. Perform other duties as assigned from time to time at the discretion of the company.
Operate underground haulage equipment.
Prioritize, understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
Clear ore and waste passes using approved blasting techniques.
Able to work without direct supervision.
Maintain cleanliness of work areas.
Any / All other assigned tasks.
QUALIFICATIONS/KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
Required:
Understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations
Ability to communicate and work well with fellow workers in a team environment.
Must meet the Physical Requirements for the Underground Operator position
Understanding of and strong commitment to all health, safety, and environmental regulations
Valid Driver’s License
Preferred:
Previous underground experience.
Previous experience with handling, storing, and transporting explosives.
Previous equipment operating experience.
