That is all we do and we do it well. Customer service is an integral part of our service to our customers. Gold Star Foods has an immediate opening for a dependable warehouse associate. At Gold Star Foods we work as a team to get the product from the warehouse to the customer.As a warehouse associate you will work Sunday through Wednesday. Noon to 10:30pm.Days off: Thurs, Fri, Sat40 hours a week with some overtime opportunities.QualificationsRequirements· Must be at least 18 years of age· Must submit and pass a pre-employment drug screen· Must pass a criminal history check· Authorized to work in the United StatesProfessional Skills· Ability to read, write and communicate in English· Team player, positive attitude, willingness to learn and follow direction· Must be self-motivated and a problem solverPhysical Demands· Must have the ability to lift/carry/push/pull up to 60 lbs. repeatedly throughout the day· Move 1000+ cases of product during each shift.Job Duties:· Safely and accurately select customers’ orders. Build, label and wrap pallets to meet standards for productivity and accuracy· Perform pre-shift equipment checks and safely operate an electric pallet jack and forklift· Work in a controlled environment (dry, cooler and freezer)· Carefully move products from racks to pallets directed by order selecting software and equipment· Efficiently move products from rack to dock area and plastic wrap all palletized orders· Understand how to arrange pallets in trailer to ensure trailer is not overweight upon US highways· Maintain a clean and safe work environment· Other duties may be assigned as necessaryQualifications:· A background in warehouse operations, including shipping/receiving and inventory is preferred; however we are willing to train as well· Working knowledge of safety regulations and procedures· Product knowledge or the ability to quickly learn it· Pallet Jack experience preferred· Reach Stand -up Forklift Operator experience is preferredBenefits· Excellent pay· Paid sick, vacation and holidays· Comprehensive healthcare benefits (Medical, Dental and Vision)· Flexible spending account· 401k retirement plan available with employer match· Group Life Insurance· Advancement within the companyAt Gold Star Foods we value each and every employee.
