What you’ll be doing…
Reporting on key metrics related to People, Process & Technology Define/Refine Finance Model and Governance for key portfolio in Verizon consumer group including Budget/Resource Management and cost optimization.
Facilitating/ Guiding the internal team on Headcount & Budget Finalization – Handling the complete Labor & Non Labor HC.
Creating Periodic reports rolled out on Variance analysis, Open positions and Change controls.
Facilitating Change control, Budget reduction & Expense reduction exercises.
Program manage contingent labor ramp up closely; ensuring alignment with budget and skills/technology.
Ensuring accurate and timely invoicing of vendor payments adhering to defined SLAs. Collaborate with delivery teams and Sourcing and proactively work on contract extensions and required approvals.
Collaborating with the budgeting team to analyze the budget availability and ensure all extensions are within the approved budget.
Tracking& analyzing the key insights from Vendor Partners meeting and provide key insights to Vendor Performance Manager, Sourcing and other stakeholders.
Collating feedback from relevant stakeholders on Vendor Performance across multiple parameters – quality, innovation, user experience, value generated, productivity, etc.
Communicating important information and insights to IT leaders to access the performance across vendors. Developing, leading and maintaining project plans aligning to the above areas.
Developing and execute an integrated communication and engagement plan including messaging, activities, management and metrics.
Building employee engagement systems including critical and continual experiences that drive performance and improve culture.
Where you’ll be working:
In this hybrid role, you’ll have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days set by your manager.
What we’re looking for…
You will need to have:
Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
Six or more years of relevant work experience.
Experience in vendor relationship management with external IT vendors.
Experience of working with vendors in a managed services environment.
Performing Chief of staff roles for mid-size portfolio/organization.
Even better if you have:
Bachelor’s/Masters degree in Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Management.
Ten or more years of work experience.
Quantitative, problem-solving, technical and analytical skills.
Knowledge of operational and financial performance management measure, including implications for IT and Business strategy.
Strong relationship management skills to interface with internal IT leaders, business leaders and external vendors.
Strong vendor relationship management and coordination capabilities, ability to effectively handle and resolve disputes.
Ability to build trust based relationships with vendors and other stakeholders.
Strong communication, negotiation, and influencing skills.
Strong presentation, verbal, and written communication skills.
Desktop applications competency (e.g., Microsoft Office, Google Mail, Google Sheets, Google Docs, Google Drives, Google Slides, PPT, Excel, etc.)
