Duties and Responsibilities

Work with Compliance Manager on developing or implementing procedures, and practices directly related to the management of the bank.
Identify and resolve compliance issues.
Stay abreast of changes in governmental and financial laws and regulations.
Assist with the bank’s compliance-related programs, such as BSA/AML and Fair Lending.
Support compliance oversight of bank strategic partnerships.
Perform periodic loan and other reviews.
Assists with preparing annual risk assessments for all compliance-related areas of the bank.
Review marketing, loan disclosures, and other materials for compliance with governing laws and regulations.
Assist with the bank’s compliance training program.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements and Qualifications

Pleasant and confident demeanor when dealing with colleagues and clients
Strong communication skills, including the ability to read, write, and speak English in a professional environment
Ability to function independently within a multi-task environment
Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.
Efficient and well organized
Ability to communicate difficult/sensitive information tactfully and concisely
Collaborate with Compliance and Program Management teams to identify trends and escalate concerns as necessary to assess compliance impact and regulatory risk.
Assist with the preparation of monitoring reports and testing results and validation of corrective action plans.
Support Compliance team in performing compliance-related activities relating to internal projects and initiatives of strategic partner programs.
Finance or banking compliance background preferred
