Job Description : Job Title: Risk, Finance and Treasury Technology Cloud Solutions Architect
Location: Pune
Corporate Title: VP
Risk, Finance and Treasury (RFT) Technology is responsible for CTB and RTB technology management which deliver and maintain front to back technology solutions to the Chief Risk Office, Finance and Treasury departments. Our departments’ scope includes the definition of IT strategy and its safe and controlled implementation and management into the operational business flows. RFT Technology is responsible for ~€400m annual change book of work across 20 sub-domains.
The RFT Cloud Transformation Horizontal is looking to recruit an experienced Cloud Solutions Architect with the right balance of cloud enterprise architecture and modern engineering skills and working knowledge of agile practices. You should be able to demonstrate the application of this skill and experience while solving complex technology cloud migrations challenges within a banking, financial services context.
You will be part of the RFT cloud migration programme supporting the successful execution of the Cloud Transformation Strategy. You will work closely with the sub-domain stakeholders (CIOs, PMs and Domain Architects) as well as the parent Initiative, to ensure the delivery teams are adhering to the RFT transformation roadmap and architectural standards.

Your key responsibilities
Translate RFT Transformation Roadmap strategy and needs into IT Architecture blueprints, estimating the financial impact of architectural alternatives.
Help design end-to-end cloud architecture solutions with strong business analysis/client- facing skills to engage a diverse stakeholder population
Act as technical subject matter specialist for the design, development, and integration of the Google cloud platform.
Advocate, define and implement architecture vision for the cloud platform from a strategic perspective, including internal and external platforms, tools, and systems
Collaborate with the central architecture group and central cloud programme to help craft and build strategic platforms
Demonstrate technical leadership ability to back decisions with research and proof points, and articulate several options, the pros and cons for each, and a recommendation
Demonstrate forward thinking around where the organization is going and how technology can support these efforts
Provide support and technical governance, expertise related to cloud architectures, deployment, and operations
Influence tactical and strategic decision making for a technology transformation journey. Provide a credible advice by leveraging cross-functional technical and functional domains
Elaborate commercial proposals
Your skills and experience
Experience with hybrid platforms using on-premises and cloud ( ideally GCP)
Track record of experience in Software Architecture, IT/Cloud/IaaS, PaaS, and Enterprise architecture discipline.
Experience with at least one of the following programming languages: Java, Python, .NET or JavaScript
Significant experience leading and assisting software developers, analysts, and designers in conceptualising and developing solutions
Solid knowledge of software architecture and architectural techniques, approaches and patterns of other development disciplines, not only designing but also delivering them.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills both with technical and non-technical audiences at the mid-level
Track record for being detail-oriented with a demonstrated ability to self-motivate and follow-through on projects
Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
A proactive team member who sees the team values and objectives as a priority
Ability to act on your own initiative and get involved in different tasks
Relevant experience working in the Financial Services industry
Ability to assess criticality of work and ensure timely delivery
Experience of working within an Agile organization
