Job Description : Your field of responsibility
Opportunity to work in the APAC Data Security & Confidentiality stream within the APAC Chief Data Officer (CDO) team. In this challenging position, you will play a central role in execution of Data Protection Roadmap for our Private Banking and Lending businesses across multiple jurisdictions in the region and activities in alignment with Credit Suisse’s data protection strategy.
The DLP Data at Rest Analyst will be primarily responsible for the daily monitoring and/or maintenance of the enterprise Data at Rest solution. The main duties of the person in this role will include proper care and administration of the Data at Rest environments and monitoring and responding to the alerts that generate from the tool. This person will work with Enterprise Security Services, IT, Business Functions, Management, etc.
Key responsibilities:
Work on the implementation of strategic data protection remediation project in data security – Data@Rest
Administration of the Data@Rest tools which includes configuring policies and reporting
Work closely with IT colleagues by providing functional requirements ensuring desired delivery needed for the completion of project and establishing BAU process
Participate & contribute to governance meetings providing updates on current status, progress, planned activities, reporting issues & providing clarity etc.
Ensure that controls are applied daily and that non-compliance remediation is addressed and raised accordingly
Setting up the logistics, facilitating related working groups, and steering senior management via activities such as proposing agenda, preparing materials, reporting related metrics and providing transparency on issues resolution and projects’ progress
Fostering a data protection culture among employees and communicating the data protection policies and standards to partners
Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm’s reputation and safeguarding Credit Suisse, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency

The APAC CDO data protection, governance & architecture, Global Chief Information Office (GCIO) responsible for centralized IT solutions e.g. DLP, the APAC Technology and Change organization is responsible for the engineering and support of technology solutions for the APAC Division, First line of defense for APAC front to back business lines.
Your skills and experience
To excel in this role, you should possess:
8+ years of experience with global financial institutions or related consulting assignments with a consistent record in effective management of data risk, data security or data confidentiality, preferably in reference to the wealth management industry
Experience across project management, data security and / or data leakage prevention applied to safeguarding data assets across multiple jurisdictions
Hands on experience in execution of remediation projects with outstanding written and verbal communication skills
Hands on experience in conducting sessions/trainings with partners, responding & handling queries efficiently
Proficient with IT security control landscape
Proficient in a robust risk management and controls culture aimed at keeping the bank safe – including the ability to identify and lead deployment of effective controls and remediation of associated gaps
Good understanding of policies, standards and guidelines around data protection
Hands on experience on multi-year projects lead through data security and confidentiality roadmap
Proficient in essential data analytics, using end user solutions such as Excel, Tableau, Power Point etc.
Result oriented, dedicated, hardworking, and can deliver on time with a high level of integrity and flexibility, sense of urgency, attention to detail and quality standards
