Job Description:
We are seeking to hire a dynamic, customer-centric personality who will strategize, expand
& build a highly talented development team. The role wraps into the CTO organization and
will report to the Head of Engineering.
To be successful as a Senior Director / Director Engineering, you should be able to
collaborate with team members and cross-functional stakeholders. Technology is very close
to us and hence we would be looking for a solid hands-on programmer, excellent
communication skills and an ability to connect with other engineers and developers and
hence have a solid foundation in software engineering.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Thorough Testing (manual, automation) to ensure the highest standard quality of Product.
Design and develop a host of products aimed at improving engineering productivity and team’s efficiency
Leading a team of gifted test engineers and building a self-motivating environment for your staff.
Work with Senior Engineers to define and drive the multi-year QA vision
Manage and execute project initiatives to deliver robust and scalable solutions against this vision.
Own and drive operational excellence and improvements in team processes
Skills & Qualifications: Tier 1 background (IIT/BITS/IIIT/NIT).
12+ years of QA experience, with at least 2 years of leadership experience.
5+ yrs. relevant experience in consumer tech/ or SaaS space.
Prior management and team-building experience. You’ll be managing several direct reports initially and will have the opportunity to scale and build out a high-performing engineering team.
Practical experience of 8-10 years in the field of Development / SDET / QA.
Solid understanding of Quality Assurance methods and practices. Experience in developing scalable and reliable automated frameworks across API, Mobile, Web, and Backend.
Demonstrated experience in test framework design, development and having a strong QA mindset. Proficiency in any open-source Automation Framework
Strong OOPS concepts and fundamentals. Proficiency in any one of Java, Golang, Python, C++ etc.
Strong Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, highly collaborative, dynamic work environment
