Job Description : Overview
Principal Accountabilities:
Produce clean code and automated tests
Align with enterprise architecture frameworks and standards
Be the role model for all engineers in the team in terms of technical competency
Research, assess, and adopt new technologies as required
Guide and drive teams through the design and implementation phase; Work together as individual contributors as and when requires
Produce detailed estimates and optimized work plans for requirements and changes
Ensure that features are delivered on time and that they meet the business needs
Strive for quality of performance, usability, reliability, maintainability, and extensibility
Identify opportunities for process and tool improvements
Use analytical rigor to produce effective solutions to poorly defined problems
Bring in best practices of application development and DevOps to deliver top-notch code quality, secure coding
Skills & Abilities:
Have Experience in Microservices, Application-level design, and architecting for SaaS applications and cloud-based applications. DevOps, open-source tech stack, security, scalability, performance tuning
Have Experience in core software development and product creation experience.
Good understanding and experience of cloud-native application design principles (like micro-services, stateless application meant for cloud, containers, 12-factor app principles, SOLID Principle, etc.)
Understanding of microservices architectural patterns like Event Sourcing, CQRS, and Domain-Driven Design
Experience with Java, Spring, Spring Boot, Spring Security, Spring MVC, Spring Integration, Spring Data
Familiarity/Experience with container technologies, e.g. Docker, Kubernetes, etc.
Knowledge of CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Git.
Experience with RDBMS like Oracle, Postgres, and NoSQL databases such as MongoDB, Couchbase, Elasticsearch
Experience in developing UI/UX features is a plus.
