HR operations & Employee’s relationship has two primary functions for any organisation. HR helps prevent and resolve problems or disputes between employees and management, assist in creating and enforcing policies that are fair and consistent for everyone in the workplace.
Job Specifications:
Diploma in Labour Law / Management Degree in HR
Minimum 10 to 12 years of experience in handling Manufacturing setup, Industrial Relations
Required skillset:
Outstanding knowledge of manufacturing people management processes
Ability to manage time effectively
Excellent communication skills
Good organizational Development skills
Proficient with Microsoft Office Tools
Ability to solve and manage complex problems
Should work in a team as well as independently
Good in local language & contractors management
Role & Responsibilities:
Partner with the Manufacturing operations leader to design and execute people practices in alignment with DFS India’s business & HR strategy
Attendance system, wage process, Workmen compensation, hiring process, workman onboarding & offboarding process, termination process Salary & wage billing, PF , ESIC, P tax calculation checking as per revision and authorisation of payment. Implementation of New wage Code. Statutory data base management, Overall control of Factory operators facilities (Creche room, canteen, safety protocol, Statutory Bonus, gratuity , payments as per defined Act )
Lead end to end people processes for the operations, i.e., production staffing, rewards & recognition, and career planning for our manufacturing teams
Design incentives structure for Manufacturing segment, labour control mechanism, rewards & recognitions, job category, hiring contract resources, skill development, Investigating and resolving complex or critical industrial relations issues in a timely and effective manner,
Collating and analysing operations / contractor feedback across all levels on a regular basis and revising contractor programs and policies to generate more positive outcomes
Design and implement employee communication programs to enable a culture of two-way communication and a process to resolve employee grievances as per the code of conduct
Managing relationships with Contractors / unions, Mathadi Unions & ensuring that the Company’s treatment of employees is consistent with its core business values and objectives.
Handling contract negotiations, Rate revision, Factory contract manpower planning
Handling complaints, managing grievance procedures, and facilitating counselling in conjunction with other stakeholders. Contract compliances Audit, Statutory compliances records updating, new wage code implementation. Interacting with labour office, factory inspector for labour related matters, Labour licenses renewal and amendments
Interaction with Legal advisor for any decisions on factory contract employment
Roll out leadership & supervisory training programs
Develop and implement employee skills matrix, technical training, and development programs for the operations teams
