Responsibilities:
Audits complex business processes and performs ad- hoc projects.
Identifies inherent and residual risks and conducts risk-based audits.
Develops an in-depth understanding of the function to be audited, summarizes findings and identifies improvements.
Supervises assigned audit activities. Works closely with auditees and team members to provide execute audits and projects, provide ongoing progress reports and updates on audit findings.
Manages and supports operational and/or financial audits from start to finish.
Conducts complex research and data analysis for various audit projects.
Stays abreast of leading practices in auditing procedures, accounting regulations, governmental regulations and internal control procedures.
Education and Experience Required:
First-level university degree or equivalent experience, CPA, CA, CIA or CFE highly desirable
Typically 4+ years of related experience in audit, consulting, accounting or finance.
Knowledge and Skills:
Systematic understanding of internal audit processes and operating principles.
Intermediate risk assessment and scoping skills.
Intermediate understanding of core HP businesses. Solid financial and business acumen and uses business knowledge, analytical skills and experience to identify findings and improvements.
Strong communication skills both oral and written.
Demonstrated project management skills such as planning, execution and reporting.
Strong knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel. Intermediate experience with SAP S4 HANA and data analytics and visualization tools like SQL, Power BI, Python, etc. highly desirable.
Strong team player with the ability to work with people across different cultures and geographies.
