Our client, a leading local retail company in Abu Dhabi is currently searching for a hands-on IT Manager to develop and implement IT Policy & Procedures, and direct the operations of IT in all branches and departments.

Role:

Plan & manage the activities to ensure smooth functioning and error-free work flowEnsures implementation of a Security Policy
Selection of capable and cost-effective products/services, vendors/consultants
Conduct analysis of business process and recommends changes, preparing feasibility report for IT requirements
Develop strategic IT plans to ensure alignment with business strategy
Plan & design telecommunication networking infrastructure Entity and its branchesDevelops the IT Department’s manpower and financial budgetFormulates long and short term strategies, plans, policies, procedures, quality assurance methods and performance metricsPrepare performance report of IT software used by different departments/branches

Requirements:

Bachelors Degree in Computer Sciences/Engineering, Information Technology/Systems or equivalentAt least 10 years’ experience in various aspects of computers and systems with minimum 5 years’ experience at managerial levelSound knowledge of applications, databases, computer operations, networks, customer services, helpdesk and business processes
