Job Description : Roles and Responsibilities
A known Telecom firm is has opening for position of Manager Internal Audit.
Position Summary
A Chartered accountant with Responsibility of ensuring:
Assess design and operating effectiveness of internal controls to ensure they mitigate identified risk.
Prepare clear, concise, and appropriately referenced work papers to document test procedures performed and conclusions drawn.
Collaboration with process owners for exact root cause analysis of issues and ensuring that same is closed within committed timelines.
Audit project closure in various areas with the stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
As an IA manager you are expected to demonstrate Integrity, Values, Work ethics and Due professional Care and lead by example in continuously changing business environment and make positive contribution to TTL by:
Conduct internal audits to assess the adequacy, effectiveness and efficiency of the internal controls and procedures for operational, financial and compliances areas.
Participate in the special projects, internal audits and companywide initiatives are required
Review the accuracy, timeliness and relevance of financial information and other disclosures provided to management.
Ensure that issues are identified, resolved, and updated to right stakeholders quickly for timely implementation of the management actions recommended in the audit report
Strong sense of integrity and the ability to balance business interests with the need to exercise independent judgement.
Lead and cross team on variety of consultative internal engagements
CIA would be a plus.

FSC – Faster Simpler and closer. Driver for change across complex process environment for organisational excellence. (Drive innovation in audit methods, COLLABORATE FOR TIME BOUND RESULTS).

Ability to work Independently with minimum or not supervision and positively influence for achievement of company wide objectives and vision.
Critical Functional Competencies Required
Competency
Skill Level Required (Pls. write ‘Yes’ against the relevant level)
Knowledge of Internal audit standards
Knowledge of ERP (SAP HANA modules)
Accounting Standards
Knowledge of telecom sector processes.
Hands-on skill set for data analytics
Knowledge of fraud Risk management practices
Familiarity of IT systems and tools
3-5 yrs of experience. CA is must. Budget is upto 14 LPA.
