Position : Payroll Clerk Part Time
Job Description : The primary function of the Payroll Clerk role is to maintain team member time records and process weekly payroll.Maintain Timeclock Records & Process Weekly PayrollEnter, maintain, and/or process information in the payroll system.Information may include team member hourly rates, salaries, bonuses or other compensation, time worked, paid leave and holidays, deductions and withholding, address changes, and other information consistent with Metal Flow policies and standard procedures.Perform payroll maintenance on the computer.Review payroll for accuracy.Update payroll spreadsheets.Run paychecks, distributing/mailing when necessary.Submit 401k data weekly.Process W2s and 1099s annuallyRun special payroll runs as directed by management (i.e. bonuses, pay for performance, etc.)Ensure proper processing of payroll deductions for taxes, benefits, charitable contributions, and other deductions.Performs basic reconciliations and audit processes for each payroll cycle.Work with Human Resources, Controller, and others to resolve payroll discrepancies and issue final discharge payment(s) as approved by management.Provide administrative human resources and accounting supportGerneral purchasing responsiblites and speical projects as assigned.Job Type: Part-timeSchedule:Day shiftMonday to FridayAbility to commute/relocate:Holland, MI 49424: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)Education:High school or equivalent (Required)Experience:Accounting: 1 year (Preferred)Payroll Occupations: 1 year (Preferred)Work Location: One location
