Job Description : This role is related to the tasks of ensuring deployment of application primarily onboard vessels as well as quality assurance on initial reported data, ongoing spot checks, process adherence and support to business / operational teams.

Key responsibilities
Engage with vessels to onboard the StarConnect Data/Data+ application on the vessels, including ensuring application is running and initial reports are receivedMonitoring of data quality, addressing data quality, and following up with the crew onboard vessels with data quality related challengesCommunicate with internal stakeholders on major incidents on reporting processes with downstream impacts (e.g., dashboards, actions, etc.)Continuously engage with vessels and PPOs to assess any challenges using the application and consolidate suggestions for changes to be consideredFocus on continuous improvement of data reporting and data quality monitoring processesRegularly participate in tele-/videoconferences with key stakeholders, internal and externalManage your stakeholders and support them on various inquiries related to deep dive fuel performance analysis or data quality related matters.Support in various reports creation as required for stakeholder’s information and updatesAssist in managing incoming tickets from vessels and triage with L1 support to ensure attention
We are looking for
Experience in maritime, possibly from prior sailing experience, understanding the communication challenges that can occurGood track record in effective communication with external as well as internal end usersHave prior knowledge of implementation and/or roll out of applications with remote assetsAttention to detail is important ensure quality in data submissionsComfortable working in a standard process in a fast-moving environmentExperience with application support and assisting the stakeholders in ensuring speedy triage and resolution of support tickets – experience in MS Service-Now is an advantageAbility to detect opportunities for changes to improve application from an end user perspectiveTeam player – collaboration across organizational boundariesExperience with data analysis and its communication to relevant stakeholders ashoreKnowledge and user experience of analytical tools like Power BI / R / Python and DB management tools e.g., SQL server, Data lake will be advantageous
