Position : SOCIAL MEDIA COMMUNITY MANAGER

Job Description : Summary: The Social Media Community Manager is responsible for corresponding and interacting with all Maggie Sottero Designs followers across all social media channels. This role will monitor and report insights as well as identify current trends utilizing brand listening tools. This individual will also communicate with soon-to-be-brides through social media, email and reviews along with growing the brands community and engagement with Reddit/the marketplace. This position reports directly to the Communications Manager, while working closely with the Social Media and Marketing Team.
Mission: Increase brand authority and community engagement of the Maggie Sottero Designs labels across our social platforms to improve sales efforts by turning fans into customers.
Duties and Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned):

Build meaningful connections and encourage community members through dialog and messaging to convert followers into Maggie Brides
Encourage brides and retailers alike to create buzz around our brand
Collaborate with Digital Marketing team to further global social media efforts across Facebook, Pinterest, Instagram, YouTube, and other social media channels
Oversees and manages responses to brides through our Contact Us inbox
Respond to Facebook, Instagram and Pinterest DMs and follow up on existing communication within 24 hours
Champion and spearhead new Reddit community initiative
Engage with social media tagged and mention posts
Track qualitative points of engagement on our content keep track of main positive and negative comments to provide feedback to the correct team members.
Report on and monitor online competitor presences/perceptions
Maintain brand voice throughout all responses
Maintain the mindset of continuous learning of new best practices within all social channels
Respond and engage with all reviews within our community
Participate and engage as a positive team member within the Sales & Marketing team

Outcomes:

Increase followers across channels and foster engagement to build and further develop brand and customer relations.
Analyze social media campaigns and translate brand listening into qualitative data to develop recommendations for future strategies
Engage with continual learning and education to stay abreast of shifting community engagement resources and listening tools for best practices and trends along with reporting these findings to respective teams
Act as a positive, proactive, and contributing member of the Sales and Marketing Team

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Communication, Advertising, or relevant field
2+ years of demonstrable experience in social media marketing and tracking, communication and/or advertising or another relevant field
Proficiency in all social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, Reddit and LinkedIn
Excellent written and oral communication skills and ability to work in fast-paced work environment
Knowledge of social media management systems preferred
Knowledge of brand listening strategies preferred
