Job Description : The Senior Graphic Designer researches, visualizes, and executes our Graphics & Branding team’s projects, as they are assigned. This work is done through reference gathering, industry trend analysis, ideation sketching, digital visualization techniques, print and other production methods, UI/UX development, and vendor sourcing. This position also provides mentorship and guidance to our staff and junior NextRow team members when individuals are struggling with their work, or would benefit from outside perspective or training on technique, visual language, or design execution.
Key responsibilities:
Design and edit digital graphics, images, print materials (occasionally), and videos in Photoshop, Illustrator, and Adobe Creative Suite. High level of proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, Adobe CC.
Produce content/assets for products and branding utilizing established design and editing skills for all digital platforms (i.e., graphic and web design, digital advertising, and social media, print, and collateral materials, etc.).
Review and proof all content and materials upon delivery for the correctness and resolve inconsistencies or deficiencies for the execution of finished products/design work.
Administer assets and creative updates to the website and all social media channels and make suggestions to improve our branding and creative.
Proficiency with image manipulation, color-correcting, scanning, etc.
Seek out new design perspectives and bring ideas and innovation to the team.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously. Knowledge of working within an Agile environment desired.
Possess a positive attitude when working with colleagues and associates. Be solutions-oriented when faced with unexpected challenges.
Proficient in various web UX/UI principles, and page layout and design to optimize brand look, user experience, click-through, and conversion rate layout and design optimization, site usability, and site speed.
Proficient in email, SMS, MMS, and push marketing design principles page layout, user experience, branding, and click-through and conversion rate layout, and design optimization.
