Job Description : RCA Records is currently looking for a Studio Runner at our LA studio. As a Studio Runner you will be a self-motivated and detail-oriented individual. The studio’s success will count on this role’s understanding of the unique demands of a studio. You will have strong interpersonal skills, and be flexible and capable to meet with the demands of the technology and client interface.

What you’ll do:
Keep track of studio inventory and replenish when necessary
Run errands
Assist with session setups and tear downs
Assist A&R and Executives during meetings and playbacks
Cover for Staff Engineer as an Assistant Engineer as needed
Clean studio, office spaces and common areas as needed
Ad hoc projects as assigned by the Studio Manager
Train under Staff Engineer and Assist on recording sessions

Who you are:
21+ (to purchase alcohol and tobacco)
Reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license, and current auto insurance
Previous experience working in a professional recording studio
Graduate from an Audio Engineering program or equivalent educational experience
Proficiency in Pro Tools and with Mac OS
Working knowledge of Avid S6000 control surface
Understand how to handle various types of mics and outboard gear
A willingness to do whatever it takes to get the job done
Integrity, professionalism, and an eagerness to go above and beyond
Able to keep track of and prioritize many tasks efficiently
Takes initiative to seek out projects during downtime
Wants to be a Recording Engineer
