Asset Coordinator, Content Development, Online Learning

Reporting to Principal, Lead or Senior Instructional Designer
Full-time working 45 hours per week
This is a truly exciting opportunity to join our innovative Pearson Online Learning Services (POLS) family! Working in partnership with universities across the UK, our division provides online learning services, including research, course content and development, marketing, student recruitment, training, and student progression and support. Our team is currently going through a period of unprecedented growth due to the popularity and demand for online learning courses.
The asset coordinator will work within the content development team and will be responsible for logging assets from storyboards into centralised development trackers for our online and blended course development projects. You will work closely with teams of instructional designers to ensure that assets are organised, downloaded and recorded accurately ready to be progressed to the next stage of development.
In this exciting new position, you will play a key role in our strategy to centralise this process for all projects longer term. There will also be opportunities to learn more about the instructional design, QA and digital production processes.
Your Key Responsibilities
Logging all assets (from storyboards) for all online and blended learning projects.
Collaborating with instructional design, digital production and QA colleagues to understand asset requirements and ensuring assets are recorded correctly.
Downloading and organising assets within the standard folder structure.
Incorporating feedback from colleagues to improve the process.
Suggesting ideas for process improvement and streamlining opportunities.
Working to a schedule to manage own time to ensure all asset logs are complete to deadlines.
Proactively liaising with project management teams.
Effectively communicating to senior/lead and principal instructional designers.
Contributing to ad-hoc projects as they arise within the department.
