The Customer Service Agent position is a critical resource for our client’s network of owners and pet care providers. The role functions in the heart of operations, engaging with their global community through phone, email, and chat to address and resolve issues that might negatively impact the customer experience. The position handles escalations that require patience, care, and empathy.
What you’ll do:
Be an unwavering customer advocate with a commitment to offering world-class customer service
Prioritize and multitask a high volume of inbound customer contacts by phone, email, and/or chat
Educate users on how to maintain safety and security while being a responsible member of the community
Handle escalated customer contacts with coaching and confidently escalate concerns as appropriate
Thoughtfully, decisively, and neutrally investigate account incidents with low to medium complexity and potentially high sensitivity, maintaining customer satisfaction and the client’s brand image
Understand and meet expected key performance indicator (KPI) metrics such as: Time to Answer, Time to Resolution, Customer Satisfaction Rating, and more
Actively participate in team activities and meetings
Own your mistakes and incorporate feedback and coaching in order to improve
What you should have:
At least 1-2 years of customer service experience, preferably in a phone-based setting (candidates with vet or animal-centric experience highly encouraged to apply)
Bilingual (Spanish/English) a plus!
Love for pets and people and a desire to keep them safe
Commitment to doing what is best for the customer and the company
Capacity to neutrally and empathetically review all sides and perspectives of a situation
Ability to multitask and crush sometimes repetitive work while maintaining strong ownership
Sound judgment, exceptional instincts, and a strong moral compass to help you solve problems quickly, sometimes with limited information
A commitment to continuous learning, growth, and improvement — for yourself and others
Comfort with a fast-paced, rapidly changing, and often ambiguous environment
Determination and a strong work ethic
