Job Description : Exp. : 2-5 yrs.
Job Description:
Conducting workshop/meetings for requirement gathering with different business/application teams
Implement best practices for BFSI/Technology/IT/Telecom/Pharma environment
Implement Datacenter/cloud discovery and CMDB solution
Responsible to design and review the Discovery/ADDM infrastructure
Build custom TPLs Technology Pattern Language to enhance discovery coverage
Develop scripts to build application relationship Application modeling
Perform updates and upgrades to the Discovery/ADDM systems
Integrate with 3rd party CMDB(ServiceNow/others)
Integrate with 3rd party tools such as AD/Email/Credential vault
Build Basic/Advanced queries to customize and enhance reporting.
Experience with older version of BMC ADDM
Perform discoveries and troubleshoot access issues to systems for discovery.
Troubleshoot weekly discovery failures Password issues, WMI failures, connectivity problems
Perform reconciliation and normalization activity to ensure completeness of data in CMDB
Build custom attribute to sync custom inventory for CMDB sync
Experience in Shell scripting skills, Regular expressions, XML editing
Provide support documentations and checklist
Experience in Backup and Restore
Configure Custom Dashboard & Reports as per business requirement
Monitor appliance health
Exposure to Laptop/Desktop discovery or automation tool would be added advantage
