Job Description : The Challenge:

That’s why we need you, a financial analyst who can learn to navigate the requirements, policies, and regulations that govern funding to make sure Navy’s resources can make the most impact.
As a financial analyst on our team, you’ll study the creation of a financial management strategy to help our Navy clients succeed. You’ll help a diverse cross-functional team of program managers, schedulers, engineers and logisticians build an actionable plan for your client to secure the funding needed to achieve their goals. You’ll assist a team using laws, regulations, and policies to help the client develop well-formed requirements. Once the funding is in place, you’ll make sure the funding is used efficiently through consistent tracking and communication with members of the integrated project team. This is your chance to establish skills in DoD acquisition, program management, business data analysis and reporting while taking the opportunity to gain financial analysis experience. You Have:
1+ years of experience in a professional work business environment
Experience with customer service and solid communication skills
Experience with Microsoft Office, specifically the use of Excel and PowerPoint
Knowledge of accounting and financial principles
Ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing organizational processes
Secret Clearance
Bachelor’s degree
Nice If You Have:
Experience with DoD
Knowledge of DoD Financial Management Principles
Ability to deliver presentations to large or diverse groups
Certification in Microsoft Excel
Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Secret clearance is required
