Our 48-bed Inpatient Hospital provides continuing, skilled care for adult patients while they recover their strength and functioning after a debilitating injury, stroke, trauma, amputation, neurological disorders, orthopedic intervention, and surgical procedures. Teamwork and collaboration are key in our hospitals as we interact well with our Physicians, Nurses, Therapists, Social Workers, & Ancillary Teams. From treatment to patient and family education, our rehabilitation specialists customize a plan of care based on each individual’s diagnosis, needs, and personal goals.
The IRF-PAI Coordinator reports to the Director of Quality and Risk. This position is responsible for the accurate and timely collection, documentation, and transmission of the IRF/PAI document. Collaborates extensively with physicians, clinical staff, and medical records and coding staff to ensure accuracy and completion of functional GG scoring, QRP data and medical necessity documentation, allowing for accurate reimbursement for clinical severity and services rendered. Facilitates concurrent modifications to clinical documentation to ensure CMS regulations are being met and patients are receiving appropriate care. Educates and trains all clinical members of the team on scoring of the IRF-PAI upon employment and on an ongoing basis.

Job Requirements

Current state licensure in nursing or allied health profession.
Minimum 2 years’ experience in rehabilitation or a closely related field .
