Job Description : Mobile Service Technician—————————————
Location: Dallas, TX
The mobile service technician is responsible for utilizing our proven techniques to provide exemplary service to clients at their home or business. The best candidates will be cheerful, outgoing, and enjoy chatting with new people. Main duties include driving, security hardware sales & installation, property code compliancy upgrades and crime awareness assessments.
QualificationsMust have a clear driving and criminal historyUnderstanding of GPS use for driving and traffic conditionsWorking knowledge of hand and power toolsDesire to work in a technical trade learning new skills
Knowledge and SkillsGeneral carpentry knowledge & vocabularyGeneral mechanical troubleshootingGeneral Internet and smart phone operationLocksmithing experience a plus!
Education and ExperienceHigh School+ or equivalentTechnical trade education a plus!
CompensationWe operate 8am to 5pm, Monday-Saturday. Training is paid. Typically this is 10-14 days. Upon successful completion of training, your level of performance will determine starting pay, $15-25/hour. Bonuses and promotional commission opportunities are also available and change regularly. All necessary tools, equipment, and vehicle are provided.

Physical DemandsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; kneel; climb a ladder; climb stairs, and to reach above shoulders with hands and arms in order to service and inspect items overhead; constant use of hands and fingers to turn and operate various tools and hardware including data input to our information system; talk or hear in order to gather and provide information on departmental processes.
Environmental DemandsWork is performed in the great outdoors! Occasional exposure to adverse environmental conditions such as dirt, dust, pollen, odors, wetness, humidity, rain, fumes, temperatures and noise extremes, machinery, vibrations, electric currents, and traffic hazards.
Travel RequirementsDistance of travel is limited to the greater DFW metro area and not overnight in nature.
