Carbon-Carbon Advanced Technologies Inc. (C-CAT) is an acknowledged leader in engineering and manufacturing high temperature composites for aerospace, defense and commercial use. We offer a casual work environment, which is both interesting and challenging. C-CAT’s rapid growth has created the need for a new position in the Processing Department. The goal is to fill this position with an individual who is highly motivated, reliable, and detail-oriented. This position requires an active, or ability to obtain, a U.S. Security Clearance, for which US citizenship is required. The right candidate will be a detail oriented individual that is willing to follow specific instructions and displays a strong work ethic and initiative. This individual will also possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Position Responsibilities:

Safely handle Carbon-Carbon composite parts through various processes including pyrolysis, cure, and heat treat steps
Operate autoclaves, high temp ovens, and furnaces
Work with hand tools commonly required for composite shop tasks
Interpret and follow written work orders
Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
Required

High School Diploma or GED
Ability to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds; Frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds; Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
Ability to freely twist, bend, kneel down, lift arms overhead, and stand for long periods of time
Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen
This position requires an active U.S. Security Clearance or ability to obtain an interim U.S. Security Clearance followed by a fully approved U.S. Security Clearance; U.S. citizenship is required (Paperwork handled through C-CAT’s Facility Security Officer)

Preferred

Previous manufacturing experience that includes operation of autoclaves, furnaces, and high-temperature ovens
Proficiency in working with hand tools commonly required for composite shop tasks.
