America’s elite private security organization is growing exponentially in Arizona and is now recruiting for immediate job opportunities for Unarmed Ready Reserve On-Call Security Officers.
We are looking for an Account Manager to create long-term, trusting relationships with our customers. The Account Manager’s role is to oversee a portfolio of assigned customers, develop new business from existing clients and actively seek new sales opportunities. Account management responsibilities include developing strong relationships with customers, connecting with key business executives and stakeholders and preparing sales reports. Account Managers answer client queries and identify new business opportunities among existing customers. In this role, you will liaise with cross-functional internal teams to improve the entire customer experience. This position may require occasional travel. If you are familiar with account management software, have a flair for client communication and understand consumer behavior, we’d like to meet you. Ideally, candidates for this role will know how to meet ambitious individual and team-wide sales quotas. Ultimately, a successful Account Manager should collaborate with our sales team to achieve quotas while keeping our clients satisfied and engaged with our products and services in the long-run.
Basic Job Responsibilities

Supervise the day to day security operations of an assigned group of client sites.
Manage a team of security officers, site and patrol drivers including hiring/selection, scheduling, payroll, training, coaching, development and support.
Ensure client sites are provided with high quality security services to protect people and property.
Build, improve and maintain effective relationships with both clients and employees.
Coordinate necessary support services to effectively manage client sites to meet or exceed financial and operational goals and provide quality customer service.
Ensure all required reporting and contract compliance requirements are met.
Other management responsibilities as determined by clients or Operations Manager.

Account Manager Client/Job Specific Skill Qualifications:

Communicate staffing needs with Corporate Office; recruit, review all online applications, interviewing and hiring quality candidates.
Develop staff in both technical and professional skills through performance management (coaching, counseling, disciplining, annual formal performance evaluations, recognition, etc.).
Review substandard performance with employees face-to-face and provide coaching and training to increase performance. Document counseling, training and coaching.
Assure that employee grievances are heard and resolved (with help from appropriate support employees, as required) and that personnel records are updated and accurate.
Assure communication of policies, company announcements and job openings through verbal and written communications as well as company website or e-hub.
Provides the basis of a great place to work by treating staff with respect.
Meet all contractual scheduled hours with a minimum of unbilled overtime.
Coordinate and/or conduct site-specific on the job training, client-specific training and annual refresher training for security personnel, as well as meeting Superior Protection’s Corporate training standards.
Reconcile security on line reporting against shift responsibilities and patrols; review incident reports and coordinate preliminary investigations.
Perform account audits and off-hour visits, completing required documentation and WinTeam eHub Check Points.
Develop / maintain operational procedures so that a valid, site-specific post orders are always available for emergency reference by the security staff.
Maintain uniform and appearance standards as outlined in the Superior Protection Policy Manual. Conduct seasonal uniform changeover and retrieve uniforms from resigned and terminated employees.
Manage uniforms, equipment, supplies & vehicles utilized at the account, maintaining appropriate inventories and maintenance checklists.
Take a proactive role in communicating with the clients and meeting their needs; meet with clients regularly, listen to issues, provide security and technical expertise and solutions. Ensure complete customer satisfaction.
Be responsible for assigned account(s) and security personnel seven days a week. The Account Manager will be provided a cellular telephone to facilitate emergency around-the-clock contact. All telephonic contacts must be responded to promptly.
Efficiently interface with Superior Protection Corporate Office and support staff and negotiate realistic deadlines for needed services.
Develop/maintain safety programs outlining site-specific hazards for security officers, including vehicle/driver’s safety, slip/fall hazards.
Administer site safety program, workers’ compensation and risk management programs as appropriate to the site and Corporate procedures.
Participate in unemployment hearings.
Capably utilize WinTeam for scheduling and billing and to produce reports (such as Scheduling Activity, Invoice Aging by Tiers, Overtime Warning Report and Open Position Warning Report) that require interpretation and action for effective business management.
Enforce Superior Protection policies as outlined by the Policy Manual and executive memos.
Prepare / manage annual budget and meet account financial goals including gross profit, overtime and payroll accuracy. These will be greatly impacted by high employee retention / low turnover. Weekly unbilled overtime is to be maintained at less then 1%.
Assist Operations Manager with rate increases, billing management and accounts receivable.
The Account Manager has the ability and authority to hire and terminate his/her employees.
Meet and exceed Operational Audit Standards.
Identify top performing Officers and assist in their professional development. Promptly communicate Superior Protection promotional opportunities/job postings.
Networking. Attend professional organization meetings and functions. Meet with people from the same industry as well as other industry to improve knowledge and obtain information for professional and company growth.
Client entertainment. This includes meals, gifts, sporting events and donations. All gifts and donations must first be approved by Operations Manager.
