As the Social Media Coordinator, you will manage our company’s social media content strategy to boost engagement and brand awareness. Your duties include developing a social media marketing plan, creating and posting new content, connecting with the community, and analyzing the success and performance of our social media marketing campaigns. This position requires extensive digital marketing experience, knowledge of a variety of social media platforms, and strong graphic design skills.
Job Role and Responsibilities:

Develop, implement, and manage social media strategies to include budget for social media activities and ads
Define social media KPIs
Perform in-depth social media research
Manage and oversee social media content
Creating social media graphics and videos
Curate social media content
Stay up to date with latest social media best practices, technologies, and trends
Familiar with social media scheduling and posting tools
Identify online influencers and engage regularly with audiences
Look for trends and keywords that are popular on social media feeds and plan content (or curation) that will use them. Monitor topics and words that matter for the company’s industry. For fast-moving networks like Twitter, this would be done daily.
Find content to curate: Find outside content to share with followers.

Requirements and qualifications

3-5 years of experience in Digital Marketing and Social Media
Minimum of 2 years of experience in content/copy/social media writing
Adept at handling and understanding various social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube)
Strong graphic design skills and experience using Canva, and other social media best practices
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written with detail to grammar and spelling
Experience with doing audience and buyer persona research and developing social media strategies
Good understanding of social media KPIs
Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Team player
Good organizational and time-management skills
Works well independently with minimal supervision
Must be able to multitask with ease on a variety of client projects and prioritize tasks depending on the client’s needs
This is a Freelance position so your ability to work remotely and unsupervised is required

Job Types: Part-time, Contract
Pay: $25.00 – $27.00 per hour
