Job Description : About Us and The Position
At Better Motors, we are changing how people buy and sell cars. We are looking for Appraisers to assess vehicles from private sellers and transport them to our dealership. You will assist in the acquisition of vehicles, and greet private sellers at their location or at the dealership.
You will fulfill all paperwork requirements and submit in a timely manner to our main office.
We are a boot-strapped fast paced company, and we’re building out this location from the ground up. The right candidate should be able to produce their best work under pressure, exceed high volume quotas, and look for ways to innovate our processes.
Overview
Training is provided. Mobile Appraisers will be the face of our company during the purchasing process, and be responsible for appraisals and at times negotiations.
The ideal candidate should be a self-starter and have knowledge of the automotive industry and/or car buying processes. Training and tools will be provided. Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record required.
Compensation

$15 an Hour OR $350 per acquisition which ever amount is greater

We work a 6 days a week, Monday-Saturday With PAID PTO
Job Responsibilities

Source cars by social media – Craigslist – and all the vehicle selling platforms

Inspect and assess vehicles onsite and offsite with appropriate tools and technology provided.

Negotiate prices according to condition of vehicle and details disclosed by car seller
Exceptional customer service and engagement skills
Extremely self-motivated; has agency
Complete and submit all government required paperwork for purchases to our main office
Must have technical aptitude, ability to learn new processes quickly
Proven track record of achieving target goals
Coordinate with our retail and wholesale division to disposition cars appropriately and in a timely manner

Make mobile pick ups and drop offs as needed
Service and repair background is a plus
Attention to detail, proper hygiene, presentable attire
Assist with vehicle intake procedures as needed
Strong team player for fast pace environment, works well with others
Communicative and proactive, takes initiative and problem solves

Pay: Up to $100,000.00 per year
