This individual oversees the maintenance of their assigned sites to include prioritizing and scheduling maintenance tasks and repairs of their own as well as for outside vendors. The Facility Maintenance Coordinator provides outstanding customer service by meeting regularly with customers to ensure alignment and providing updates on a consistent basis. Additional technical maintenance training a plus3-5 years of practical work experience related to one or more aspects of the roleMaintenance Technician HVAC and Electrical skill would be a plusSupervisory experience desiredExperience working with vendors preferredFamiliarity with accepted construction practices, Building Mechanical Systems preferredFamiliarity with and ability to read blueprints desiredClear and concise written and oral communication skills; ability to constructively confront and resolve issues; attentive listenerAbility to develop and maintain relationships with associates, leaders and vendors both onsite and from a distanceAbility to effectively utilize personal computer, MS Office, Smart phones and related technologyBusiness acumen, to include an understanding of budgeting, P&L statements, monitoring and controlling costs, reporting and negotiating skills.Problem solving and decision making skills, as well as handle multiple task and priorities.Company Overview: Schneider is a premier provider of truckload, logistics and intermodal services.
