Premier brand, Leaf California, is seeking Cannabis Processors to join our dynamic and diverse team. Our mission is to deliver paramount performance in our product, using sustainable energy and utility methods in our state-of-the-art facility, located in Sacramento, CA. The successful candidate will be an engaged apprentice with a positive attitude who will undertake the responsibility of trimming and manicuring our flower under experienced supervision from some of the best cultivators in the industry. In addition, our focus is on running an efficient, high quality production program while maintaining organization, safety, and cleanliness. Core Job Responsibilities:
Primary responsibilities will include:
Responsible for inspecting, bucking and processing our flower in preparation for trim
Checking in with the Trim/Processing Manager to ensure you are working in the proper order of product
Assist with harvest as needed
Exhibit eagerness and passion to develop your knowledge
Stay on task, able to work independently, as well as work well with coworkers in small environments
Communicate effectively with all team leaders, management, and employees
Take direction and follow instructions with enthusiasm
Welcome constructive criticism from team leaders to maintain quality standards and production goals
Have accountability, display committed proactive behavior, and strong attention to detail
Exhibit personal hygiene and follow the health guidelines set forth by the company and the state
Enjoy and commit to a flexible rolling monthly schedule, with most weekends required depending on schedule
Facility Care and Cleaning:
Maintain workspaces and production areas to ensure compliance with company quality and sanitation standards
Ensure a clean and safe cultivation facility, including the safe disposal of waste
Working Environment:
Quality Control:
Identify and implement methods and practices to achieve operational improvements in efficiency and quality
Become familiar with and develop basic knowledge of strain characteristics
Promote a culture of world class performance and continuous improvement that values learning and a commitment to quality
Safety and Performance:
Responsibility for the performance of the shift, including safety, quality, and productivity
Maintain safety programs and other aspects of regulatory compliance
Maintain the proper tools and equipment required to perform the job effectively and safely
Skills, Experience and Education: Skills, Expertise, and Education – • HS Graduate or Diploma
Basic knowledge of cannabis
Gardening or agricultural experience helpful
Any formal education in agriculture, horticulture, or social science is beneficial
Compliance and Considerations:
Requires physical fitness and health necessary to perform asks required for cannabis trimming
Able to perform physical tasks that are repetitive while standing for extended periods of time
Ability to work in varying temperatures tight spaces
Have no severe allergies or sensitivities to cannabis plants
Noise level and working environment can be loud
Additional Information:
You are at least 21 years of age
You have no felony convictions (cannabis convictions exempt)
You are willing to participate in a background check
You are honest, trustworthy and have a strong work ethic
You have reliable transportation
You are able to stand, sit, and or reach for extended periods
