Job Description : Responsibilities
The Content Specialist combines their passion for data, people, process and technology to drive internal and external customer engagement around data governance. The specialist trains and socializes data governance concepts and activities towards the ultimate objective of establishing trust and transparency in analytics. This critical role collects and translates requirements for data governance projects/use cases that serve analytical teams throughout the health sciences. The specialist ensures that the content of the data governance center is reliable. The content specialist also provides input and testing support towards the design and implementation of flexible and creative solutions within Collibra, the data governance platform. Bring your creativity, communication and analytical skills to re-envision the way users find, understand and trust their data.
Qualifications
Experience training and communicating technical content to users with ease, enthusiasm and professionalism in different formats (classroom, face to face, videos)
Experience in building a library of training content and industry best practices
Experience with website design, leveraging Teams, Slack, and other enterprise communications channels to distribute information to users
Experience serving as a subject matter expert about data in one or more areas (clinical, financial, operational, research)
Experience with SQL programming, particularly for Microsoft SQL Server to support Data Quality and metadata analysis
Experience building reports and dashboards with Visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI, SAP)
Experience in analysis, data relationships, data aggregation, and summarization with the ability to consolidate data from disparate systems is preferred.
Exposure with Software implementation methodologies, Agile, SCRUM
Ability to comprehend relationships among data field elements in the Epic electronic health record, such as flowsheets, notes, encounters, lab results, billing, and paid claims.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, or a related field, and five years of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience required
Work experience with health care data is preferred.

Willingness to learn new skills and technologies
