We are currently looking for a Content Strategy & Insights team intern who will help support in-app content understanding and analysis across a variety of creative and strategic initiatives. This role will liaise with a wide variety of teams in our Los Angeles office, including Content Programming, Content Insights, Content Strategy, Data, Product, User Research, Partnerships, Marketing, PR, and more.

Responsibilities

Develop internal knowledge and expertise around the TikTok audience and content ecosystem
Review in-app content and monitor content trends and ecosystem health
Contribute to insights development and reporting
Help inform content strategy through in-depth analytical and research projects
Collaborate with a variety of cross-functional teams including Content Programming, Content Insights, Content Strategy, Data, Product, User Research, Partnerships, Marketing, PR, and more
Facilitate day-to-day escalations and troubleshooting of issues
Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s in a mathematics, statistics, economics, data science, or computer science
Able to commit to working for 12 weeks during Summer 2022
Team player, ability to engage on all levels of the organization
1-2 years of related professional or equivalent graduate school experience
Strong analytical skill set, including expertise in Excel and SQL. Python and/or R experience a plus but not required.
Passion for TikTok and highly attuned to trends and culture
Proven track record of operating independently, demonstrating creativity, and managing multiple projects simultaneously
Ability to initiate and drive projects to completion with minimal guidance
Strong interest in entertainment and digital content; understanding of the media landscape and major trends in the industry
Able to work in our Los Angeles office
