We are seeking a dynamic individual who is looking to establish a career in Social Media. As a key contributor to the Social Media team, the Coordinator serves a critical role as a primary point-person for all Disney Channel social media programs, and provides best-in-class support to bring those programs to life. The Coordinator works across all aspects of social media, including but not limited to scheduling, asset management, campaign assistance and production assistance.
Responsibilities :
Partner with the Social Title Marketing team as a creative voice on campaigns, assisting with management across campaigns from production through launch
Schedule and upload social posts and assets to content and asset management systems, ensuring deliverables and hitting deadlines across campaign needs
Create work orders for all video and design requests
Prepare and organize weekly assets for social media managers to use for social calendars
Coordinate with Affiliate Sales & Marketing to schedule any video content needed for specific affiliate campaigns
Audit and maintenance of content on various platforms post-launch
Update department documentation (rollout documents, presentations, campaign plans)
as needed
Assist the Social Title Marketing team with additional tasks as necessary, including serving as back-up for other department coordinators when needed
Basic Qualifications :
1+ years experience, preferably in social media
Active social media presence across platforms
Creative, proactive and independent thinking
Ability to prioritize, multi-task and meet deadlines
Strong creative writing skills
Effective communication skills in both verbal and written form
Ability to build and manage relationships
Extreme attention to detail
Ability to learn new systems quickly
Knowledge of social media landscape
Knowledge of children’s programming
Experience with social media content management systems
Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Keynote
Required Education :
Bachelor’s degree
