The Creative Services and Global Production organization develops and produces editorial content, events and experiences that support Apple Services. The Strategy and Marketing team is responsible for developing the creative strategy and initial approach that informs and inspires this work. We are looking for a dynamic Strategist to join our Apple Services team in Culver City, CA. This role will be responsible for leading the identity development of Apple Services across all audience touch points. This entails leading the customer insights needed to inform identity strategies, working cross-functionally to establish an identity platforms, implementation and education of those platforms with our team members across the globe, and helping to build brand campaigns as we seek to inform, engage and inspire our customers.
Key Qualifications
Demonstrated ability in a Creative Strategy role, working on Entertainment based campaigns and projects. Creative agency background experience preferred.
Ability to understand how strategy lives within – and inspires creative execution across – the broader marketing mix
Knowledgable and passionate about music, TV, gaming, books and broader culture and entertainment; with deep understanding of trends and insights, with the ability to apply them onto each given project
You are an avid consumer of media and social media, able to understand audience behavior across a wide range of channels, platforms and formats.
Skilled in prioritizing multiple, complex, concurrent projects. Able to respond and adapt to the needs of a highly matrixed organization, and ensure that work is delivered to a high standard while adhering clearly to defined marketing objectives.
Exceptional attention to detail, while still working under tight timelines. Proficient in Keynote, Microsoft Office, Pages and Numbers. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Adaptable with a positive demeanor, able to excel in ambiguity
Description
Creative strategist working on projects to support Apple Services with a strong focus on Apple TV+ and Apple Music. Expert on music culture and trends, and a consumer/fan of virtual experiences and digital content, providing regular updates and competitor / industry insights to the rest of the music programming team. Identify key cultural partners that help drive relevance and expand the reach of key Apple Music projects and campaigns. Identify and understand different consumer audiences and use this insight to strategically plan projects. Receive, write and interrogate briefs. Ensure all briefs are built on solid strategic foundations in response to business and marketing objectives before any creative work begins. Design, research, plan and run cross functional strategic brainstorms and will play a central role in briefing other internal departments and all subsequent creative development and planning. Skilled at writing pitch presentations and decks, building a clear and compelling narrative that helps to set up and frame creative work. Able to present strategy in internal creative reviews and to other clients and collaborators of all levels of seniority across the business. You are highly collaborative and able to work as part of a wider team that also includes Experiential Designers, Producers and Project Managers. When necessary, you’ll work with cross functional teams to integrate the Apple Services ecosystem into event programming plans and campaigns. This role reports into the Head of Strategy.
Education & Experience
