We are looking for a well-dressed, energetic person to deliver prescriptions to patient homes or workplace using provided pharmacy delivery vehicle. You will demonstrate excellent customer service skills, as well as the ability to multitask and work under limited supervision.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide fantastic customer service to our patients and support to the pharmacy team (including answering phones, collecting patient data, and marketing our services)
Verify all prescriptions are properly processed, bagged, and neatly stapled for delivery.
Must be able to understand delivery manifests/tickets and always obtain proof of delivery signatures from patients
Work with pharmacy staff to ensure that deliveries leave the pharmacy at the appropriate time and delivered to the designated location as requested
Transport and deliver medication and front store items to patients in a safe and secure manner to prevent damage, spoilage, or loss
Inform customers about new products and services
Keep supervisors informed of daily activities and any delivery issues
Ensure that patient confidentiality is always maintained
Navigate delivery routes using Google Maps or MapQuest
Maintain company car by cleaning inside and out, fueling, and reporting any mechanical issues immediately to management
Observe all state driving laws, including the mandatory use of seat belts, not driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs (including prescription drugs that may impair driving ability), and yielding to all emergency vehicles
Collect payments from patients and reconcile to register at end of delivery route
Complete daily signature logs and file all reports prior to end of shift for audit purposes
Must get along with co-workers; maintain effective relationships with management, staff, and store customers
Follow all company policies and procedures, state and federal laws and regulations
Perform all duties with a “Commitment to Caring” and in accordance with the company’s mission, vision, and values.
Demonstrate honesty and integrity towards all assigned tasks.
Must respond to change productively and handle additional projects as assigned.
Keep the front end maintained (light cleaning and organizing)
