We are seeking a Director of Dining Services/General Manager for one of the premier senior communities on the Peninsula/Silicon Valley.
As a part of the Human Good Dining Services team in collaboration with Morrison Living, you will lead a dynamic, creative and fun team working to create our vision of what the dining experience should be in senior living. DIRECTOR OF DINING SERVICES POSITION DESCRIPTION
– As DDS you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to day operations of the dining department for residents in all levels of living (residential, assisted, memory support and health center)
– Create an inspiring environment for team members to excel in providing services to residents
-You will actively manage your team before and during service, maintaining quality & standards as well as interact with our residents on a daily basis.
– You should have a results-orientated approach to achieve financial goals and meet budgets.
– You are an individual who can collaborate with our residents & client to create life enhancing experiences at meal service and special events
– Collaborate with Executive Chef and Dietitian to create menus featuring seasonal and local selections fine-tuned to our residents’ preferences.
– Oversee the recruiting, onboarding, training & and management of your team
– Ensure regulatory compliance
We offer competitive salary and benefits plus a great work environment. You must be able to pass a Department of Justice background check. Must be vaccinated. Prefer candidate with Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) credential or willingness to study for it in first year of hire.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $90,000.00 – $110,000.00 per year
